What world are you living in?

Hey there!

You are unique. No one is or will ever be like you.

I see us all living within 2 worlds. One raised us. We were trained, dependent on those who raised us. So we’ve all created thoughts and beliefs and these things created our reality.

The other world is the one we’re in now. One in which we begin asking ourselves the bigger questions. Who am I? Who am I really? What is the purpose of life anyway? Mid-life is usually a great time to ask yourself these bigger questions, although in today’s age of endless streamed and shared information it could happen much sooner than mid-life.

There is a point where you begin to ask yourself - is what I was taught correct? Is what they said about me true? You’ve had enough life experience by now and this is what enables you to dive a little deeper.

If in one world, you have ‘where you’re from’ and the second world, ‘where you’re headed,’ in the intersection of the two, is who you really are. Knowing this will assist you in what lies beyond your current circumstances.

There is a time in one’s life, where unless these questions are examined and answered from a new perspective, the wounds from the past can linger, and often lie dormant. (Until we are triggered of course).

Understanding where we are is only half the battle. The other half is realizing that we have the power to decide what world we want to live in.

We may have to change our thoughts, our behaviors, our environment, our perspectives. And like I said last week, if you want your world to change, you will have to change.

You know a lot of things by now. But knowing isn’t going to get you to where you want to be. That will require action. And for now, how about just being ok with how things are? Before heading into creating your future, we have to know and accept where we are.

I see many people that know what isn’t working in their lives. What they’d like to change. The tough part sometimes is how? If you knew, wouldn’t you have done it by now? It can be a bit overwhelming at the beginning of creating a new world for yourself, but as the layers of new skills and practice begin to help you understand yourself more, things do become easier.

There’s no quick fix unfortunately. Which is why I believe you need guidance from someone who’s a little bit ahead of where you are. There will always be people a little ahead of you and a little behind you. And that’s good for everyone, as we learn and grow together.

So keep learning. Use your experiences as leverage to what it’s trying to teach you. And for today, just do your best.

All my love,
K 💛

I am an energetic gal who is captivated by the human condition. I believe in exploring all life experiences to learn and grow. Throughout my 20+ years of studying and learning to love and accept myself - no matter what, I have come to realize that there is no ‘right’ path or way to experience life, other than head on, with accountability, a sense of humor and lightness, and a knowing that only I can create my own reality. And this is true for everyone. You create your own reality. Let me help you get to yours!
