Women, like men, come with a variety of attributes that make living life sweeter.
Women have many roles and are so very capable today. Actually they have been kicking ass for a while now, but that’s not why I love them.
After giving this topic some thought, what kept coming up for me is the emotional connection I get with women and continues to be some of the most impactful experiences in my life.
Women are supportive, warm and empathetic naturally. They come with a built in strength that is palpable. We may look like emotional messes at times but the inner strength of a woman is undeniable.
Women are powerful. Some birth the babies and we all protect the children. We love fiercely. It’s in our bones.
Women are beautiful. They are so pretty to look at. We come in all shapes and sizes and yet every woman carries a grace within her. And then we optimize our beauty! From make up and fashion to high heels and surgery, we bring beauty to the world. And our skin is so soft!
Combine the external beauty with the inner feminine gifts and no wonder the men adore us and want to protect and provide for us!
The feminine is soft, open hearted, intuitive, caring, gentle, nurturing, kind, expressive.
I ‘get’ women. I feel what they feel. From joys to sadness we’re relatable. We share deeply and support each other. The best thing after going through a hard time is calling a girlfriend!
The older ones share wisdom and the younger ones remind me of my youth and where I’ve been. We share dreams and challenges and get to talk and talk and talk. We listen, can interrupt, talk over and we accept each other anyway. We can call each other out while seeing the best in each other.
Oh and the laughs. The girl trips, sun tanning, dancing and shopping. Wine, martini's, eating and all sorts of celebrating. Oh the eating. I must say women in my life have looked after me. I've had so many soul sisters who have fed me so many times. You know who you are. Forever grateful. ❤️
Women have helped raise me. And as long as there are women, I don't feel alone.
