Your true essence is peaceful

Hey hey dear friend!

You can use any type of problem to awaken. That’s the true purpose of any challenge. Use it to ‘come home.’

There are ways of being that make life easier for sure. Skills certainly help. But true peace calls for the acceptance of what is. And then just stop. When you just stop searching, you wake up to what is here, now.

What if you don’t have to do anything? Your true essence is to just be. Just as the sun is always there - whether you see it or not. Lately I think of myself as the sky. Thoughts and emotions pass by, as do clouds. This keeps me free from making too much of anything.

When I suggest don’t believe everything your mind tells you, this is what I mean. We want to make meaning out of everything and sometimes miss out on the peace that lives underneath.

Like the clothes that cover up your nakedness, your peace lies under the mind.

This is what it means to be the witness. Witness the thoughts and emotions but lighten the meaning you make of them.

Sure, choices matter, but no matter what, you continue to flow through life. How do you flow? That will be up to you and your interpretation.

This won’t make you dumb. It actually frees you from incessant chatter that takes up a lot of space and uses your energy.

For a moment now, just be. Sit in this moment, without worry. Isn’t that nice?

You will deal with your challenge. But from a peaceful place rather than a stressed out one.

All my love,
K 💛

I’m a curious gal who is captivated by the human condition. I believe in exploring all life experiences to learn and grow. Throughout my 30 years of studying and learning to love and understand myself, I have come to realize that there is no ‘right’ path or way to experience life, other than head on, with accountability, a sense of humor and a knowing that I’m exactly where I need to be. And this is true for everyone. You create your own reality. Reach out if you want a skilled friend. I’m in the arena. Want to join me?
